1. Medical Office Assistant (MOA), Full-Time
We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our busy family medical team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional front desk support, manage electronic medical records, and ensure smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. Prior experience with office management systems and medical terminology is highly valued.
Duties:
- Greet and assist patients in person or by phone with professionalism and empathy.
- Data processing including management of incoming and outgoing faxes, prescription renewals, report scanning, medical chart transfers, facilitating referrals (including tracking status)
- Reception support including answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing mail, minor payment transactions.
- Triaging patient phone calls and asking for assistance from nursing and/or physicians when appropriate.
- Relays messages to patients from nursing and physicians (i.e. scheduling investigations, test results, etc.)
- Identifying and managing abusive/violent patients in a timely and appropriate manner.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in medical office or similar
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a team-oriented attitude
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ensure confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with regulatory standards
- Vulnerable sectors check

Assets
- Proficiency in EMR systems (PS Suites)
- Diploma in Medical Office Administration
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
Pay: From $20.00 per hour

2. Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), Full-Time
We are seeking a licensed, detail-oriented, and compassionate RPN to join our busy family medical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care. The RPN will utilize their expertise in nursing practices to support patient well-being, manage medical needs, and collaborate with physicians and other team members. Experience in family medicine is highly valued. The role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration, and case management to ensure optimal patient care. Regular hours with no evenings or on-call.
Responsibilities
- Patient triage
- Patient interaction (phone and in person), rooming patients
- Taking vital signs
- Performing procedures such as immunizations, allergy injections, suture removal, etc.
- Instrument inventory and sterilization
- Administrative duties (charting, phoning patients, etc.)
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as an RPN or RN in Ontario and in good standing with the College.
- Vulnerable sectors check
- Professional/personal reference
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Strong and up-to-date knowledge of vaccines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a team-oriented attitude
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
Assets

- Working knowledge of operating an Autoclave, or a willingness to learn

We are seeking additional physicians to come join our practice and community!
We are a family health organization (FHO) with additional spots and clinic space available. Beautiful and spacious clinic space with friendly and supportive staff. Telus PS Suites EMR.
Excellent local specialist support including internal medicine, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, anesthesia, gastroenterology, radiology (U/S, CT and MRI). 1 hour from tertiary care in Kingston and Ottawa.
Eligible for income stabilization, rural loan forgiveness program and return of service requirements.
