Medical Learners
Several of our physicians are involved with medical education and have teaching practices. This means that you may encounter a medical learner in our clinic. We believe that teaching is an important way of getting the next generation of physicians interested in family medicine, particularly in smaller communities like ours.
We currently accept and teach learners at various stages of their training from medical students to resident physicians. All learners are under the supervision of a staff physician. Our teaching staff hold academic appointments with the University of Ottawa and/or Queen's University.
